About Advisentra

What is Advisentra?

Advisentra is a web-based business management platform for small businesses, freelancers, sole traders, consultants, and service-based businesses. It brings together customer records, leads, sales pipelines, follow-ups, invoicing, payments, income and expense tracking, projects, tasks, deadlines, team assignments, employee records, leave, onboarding, employee documents, and business reports in one place.

Who is Advisentra for?

Advisentra is designed for freelancers and sole traders who need a simple way to manage clients and invoicing, consultants juggling multiple engagements, and service-based businesses that also need to manage a growing team.

Do I need to install anything to use Advisentra?

No. Advisentra is entirely web-based, so you can access it from any device with a modern browser and an internet connection — there's nothing to download or install.

Can Advisentra grow with my business as I hire staff?

Yes. As your business grows, you can move to a plan that includes the Projects & Team tools, covering employee records, leave, onboarding, and employee document storage, alongside the customer, sales, and finance tools you're already using.

Plans and Billing

How does pricing work?

Advisentra is offered through subscription plans, each including a different combination of tools. You pay only for the services and tools included in the plan you choose, so costs stay proportionate to what your business actually needs.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Depending on the change, it may take effect immediately or from your next billing cycle, with fees adjusted accordingly.

How do I pay for my subscription?

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, supporting card payments as well as Bacs Direct Debit where available.

What happens if a payment fails?

If a payment fails or isn't received by the due date, your access to the Service may be suspended until the outstanding amount is settled. Reasonable administrative charges may also apply where permitted by law.

Refunds

Does Advisentra offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes. Advisentra offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on eligible purchases. If you're not satisfied within 14 days of your initial payment, you can request a full refund, subject to our published Refund Policy.

What isn't covered by the guarantee?

Renewal payments after your first 14 days, repeat sign-ups from a customer who has already had a refund, and accounts suspended for breaching our Terms are generally not eligible. Requests outside these criteria may still be considered at our discretion.

How long does a refund take to arrive?

Refunds are issued back to your original payment method via Stripe. Card refunds are usually faster; Bacs Direct Debit refunds may take a little longer to clear, depending on your bank.

Can I cancel without requesting a refund?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again after that.

What Advisentra Does and Doesn't Do

Does Advisentra hold my business's money?

No. Advisentra does not hold customer funds. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles the transfer of funds between the paying customer and your business.

Does Advisentra process payroll?

No. Advisentra supports employee records, leave tracking, onboarding, and document storage, but it does not calculate or process payroll. You'll need a separate payroll provider for that.

Can I get tax or accounting advice through Advisentra?

No. Advisentra helps you track income and expenses, but it does not provide accounting or tax advice and does not file tax returns. Please consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser for that.

Is Advisentra a regulated financial service?

No. Advisentra is a business management software platform. Payment processing is carried out by Stripe, which is separately regulated as a payment services provider.

Data, Privacy, and Cookies

Who owns the data I store in Advisentra?

You do. You retain ownership of all customer, financial, project, and employee data you input into the Platform. Advisentra processes it on your behalf to provide the Service.

Is my customer and employee data secure?

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data on the Platform, including access controls and secure handling of payment information through Stripe. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Does Advisentra use cookies?

Yes. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep the Platform working and secure, plus optional functionality, analytics, and marketing cookies, which you can manage through our cookie settings tool or your browser. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

Can I export my data if I close my account?

Yes, where technically available you can request an export of your data before cancelling. We recommend backing up important records ahead of any account closure.

Support and Getting Started

How do I get started with Advisentra?

Choose a subscription plan that matches your business needs, register for an account, and you can start adding customers, tracking leads, creating invoices, and setting up projects right away. Because everything is connected, information you enter in one area, such as a customer record, is available across the rest of the platform.

What if I need help using a feature?

Our support team is available through the contact channels on our website and can help you use the Platform's features. Please note that support does not extend to accounting, tax, payroll, or legal advice — for those, we'd recommend speaking with a qualified professional.

Can I change how much of my team has access to Advisentra?

Yes. Advisentra includes standard account access controls, so you can manage who within your business has access to the Platform, including sensitive areas like financial records or employee documents, as your team grows.
